The Lounge of Villa Kelebek is comfortable and spacious. Its high ceilings, tiled floors and patio windows usually ensures that it is cool no matter how hot the weather, but there is air conditioning to the lounge and the bedrooms that can be activated by the switch of a button. The lounge contains a double sofa bed and single sofa bed for the larger parties ( great for the kids) and Digiturk Satelite TV with many English speaking channels. Within the TV Cabinet there is a dvd/cd player and stereo/amplifier. Villa Kelebek owner John has also left a quite eclectic mix of cd's and dvd's, books, board games and cards which guests always appreciate. Locally bought rugs and furniture gives the villa a luxurious Turkish feel but with all the mod cons to make you feel at home.

The Beach at the world famous Olu Deniz is a short drive away from the villa (approx 40 easy minutes) and is a wonderful place for a swim, a laze or for the more adventurous to paraglide off the mountains behind, on to the beach ,
The ancient tombs of Pinara, (Pinara meaning round) is situated around a huge plug of rock above the villa of Minare, some 5 km,(3 miles) west of the main D4OO road. The entrance is about 3 km (2 miles) along an unpaved track that is passable by car. The honeycombed tombs are hewn into the rock face. Pinara is just one of many spectacular sites within an hours reach of the Villa.Pinara itself is about 20 minutes away. Notable sites which you can see in our picture gallery are Xanthos, Patara, Letoon and Tlos. Wonderfully underdeveloped, you can wander at will amongst spectacular ruins reenacting the role of Indiana Jones ! Villa Kelebek has guide books with maps to enhance these visits. All you need is some stout footwear, a love of history and a sense of adventure.
Visit the restaurants at Saklikent Gorge which are only a 10 minutes drive away from Villa Kelebek. Here after walking through the world famous Gorge you can sit down by the waters edge and enjoy some wonderful Turkish cuisine in the most relaxed environment you are ever likely to find. Don't be afraid if you wish to curl up and go asleep after your meal - its almost expected.
Its not just you who will be glowing after a day at Villa Kelebek. Watching the sun set from the pool side over a glass of wine is simply wonderful.
Villa Kelebek has three bedrooms comprising one spacious master bedroom shown above and two other bedrooms with twin beds. All bedrooms have an outside balcony and all have air conditioning. The bedrooms themselves are simply but tastefully furnished with ample wardrobe and cupboard space. connecting them is a very spacious hallway which star gazers will immediately see comes uniguely equipped with its own telescope for those more star struck guests !
The road to Villa Kelebek as you can see is sometimes subject to early mornng congestion. The local vilage of Kadakoy is only five minutes away in the car. It is a very traditional village serving a rural community but you have several good shops selling local produce, such as fresh bread, eggs, milk, honey and very cheap fruit and vegetables. There is also a local rug and carpet weaving centre who can make something to order at a very reasonable price. The village itself has a number of roadside cafes that will do excellent snacks and main meals in the day or evening
