And what a welcome you can expect to get with the classical and elegant Georgian architecture of Villa Kelebek nestled in the foothills of the Habdag Mountain range on the edge of the Saklikent Valley. Villa Kelebek has all you need to make this a perfect holiday but it is the surroundings that will seduce you. In front of the Villa are fields of cotton and pasture and to the back and sides gently sloping foothills, rising to the imposing mountains behind. By day and by night its a magical setting, guaranteeing you a quiet, relaxing and to be perfectly frank a very romantic idyllic location. It is perfect for couples who wish to wile away their  time together by the pool or those those who wish a beautiful base to explore the many Lycean and Roman ruins of the world renowned Lycean Way. The pool is close to the villa so those with children who like to do their own thing, can do so with you keeping a discreet eye on them.

You approach the villa which sits proudly on the top of a slope affording excellent views of the Xanthos Valley below and affording a high degree of privacy. Note the grape laden Pagoda where you can relax with a drink in natural shade

Classic elegance with modern amenities such as broadband wi fi, stereo, dvd, satelite tv and local pay as you go mobile for your own security and comfort
The Lounge of Villa Kelebek is comfortable and spacious. Its high ceilings, tiled floors and patio windows usually ensures that it is cool no matter how hot the weather, but there is air conditioning to the lounge and the bedrooms that can be activated by the switch of a button. The lounge contains a double sofa bed and single sofa bed for the larger parties ( great for the kids) and Digiturk Satelite TV with many English speaking channels. Within the TV Cabinet there is a dvd/cd player and stereo/amplifier. Villa Kelebek owner John  has also left a quite eclectic mix of cd's and dvd's, books, board games and cards which guests always appreciate. Locally bought rugs and furniture gives the villa a luxurious Turkish feel but with all the mod cons to make you feel at home.

Two interlocking tables which can be put together to accommodate 8 people. They can also be folded up and taken outside if you wish to dine by the poolside with the barbeque right by you

The Beach at the world famous Olu Deniz is a short drive away from the villa  (approx 40 easy minutes) and is a wonderful place for a swim, a laze or for the more adventurous to paraglide off the mountains behind, on to the beach ,

The ancient tombs of Pinara, (Pinara meaning round) is situated around a huge plug of rock above the villa of Minare, some 5 km,(3 miles) west of the main D4OO road. The entrance is about 3 km (2 miles) along an unpaved track  that is passable by car. The honeycombed tombs  are hewn into the rock face. Pinara is just one of many spectacular sites within an hours reach of the Villa.Pinara itself is about 20 minutes away. Notable sites which you can see in our picture gallery are Xanthos, Patara, Letoon and Tlos. Wonderfully underdeveloped, you can wander at will amongst spectacular ruins reenacting the role of Indiana Jones ! Villa Kelebek has guide books with maps to enhance these visits. All you need is some stout footwear, a love of history and a sense of adventure.

Visit the restaurants at Saklikent Gorge which are only a 10 minutes drive away from Villa Kelebek. Here after walking through the world famous Gorge you can sit down by the waters edge and enjoy some wonderful Turkish cuisine in the most relaxed environment you are ever likely to find. Don't be afraid if you wish to curl up and go asleep after your meal - its almost expected.

Its not just you who will be glowing after a day at Villa Kelebek. Watching the sun set from the pool side over a glass of wine is simply wonderful.

Villa Kelebek has three bedrooms comprising one spacious master bedroom shown
above and two other bedrooms with twin beds. All bedrooms have an outside balcony
and all have air conditioning. The bedrooms themselves are simply but tastefully furnished
with ample wardrobe and cupboard space. connecting them is a very spacious hallway
which star gazers will immediately see comes uniguely equipped with its own telescope  for those more star struck guests !

The road to Villa Kelebek as you can see is sometimes subject to early mornng congestion. The local vilage of Kadakoy is only five minutes away in the car. It is a very traditional village serving a rural community but you have several good shops selling local produce, such as fresh bread, eggs, milk, honey and very cheap fruit and vegetables. There is also a local rug and carpet weaving centre who can make something to order at a very reasonable price. The village itself has a number of roadside cafes that will do excellent snacks and main meals in the day or evening
